Terms and Conditions for NAUSTSAUNA.NO

This purchase is governed by the following standard terms and conditions for consumer rental of services over the Internet. The rental relationship is primarily regulated by the Norwegian Contract Act, Right of Withdrawal Act, Marketing Act, and E-commerce Act. These laws provide the consumer with non-waivable rights and are available at www.lovdata.no.
The Agreement
The agreement consists of these terms, information provided in the booking system, and any specially agreed conditions. In case of conflict, specially agreed conditions take precedence, provided they do not violate mandatory legislation.

Lessee: The individual who places the booking.
Price
The price for renting the sauna is stated in the booking system and includes all fees. There are no hidden charges.
* Drop-in: NOK 180 per person, max 8 people.
* Private booking: NOK 1,000 for up to 10 people.
Conclusion of Agreement
The agreement is binding for both parties once the booking has been completed and confirmed via email. The lessee is responsible for checking that the confirmation details are correct.
Payment
Payment is made at the time of booking via the website’s payment system (Vipps, card, etc.). The full amount is paid in advance. If a credit or debit card is used, the seller may reserve the amount on the card upon booking. The card is charged on the same day the booking is made. If Vipps is used, the customer will be charged immediately.
Use of the Sauna
The lessee has the right to use the sauna during the booked time slot. For private bookings, the lessee has exclusive access. For drop-in, access is limited to the number of spots booked.
The following rules apply:
* A towel must be used on the benches.
* The sauna must be left in the same condition as it was on arrival.
* All trash must be taken with you and disposed of properly.
* Moderate alcohol consumption is permitted for private bookings. No intoxicants are allowed during drop-in.
* Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to single services scheduled for a specific time or period, cf. §19 (b) of the Right of Withdrawal Act.
You can modify your reservation up to 24 hours before the original booking time.
Cancellation and Rebooking
We do not accept cancellations and do not offer refunds. However, we can help you reschedule your booking up to 6 months ahead, provided you notify us at least 24 hours before your original booking starts.
Rebooking is subject to availability and must be arranged in advance.
Complaints
If there are faults or defects in the service (e.g., technical issues), this must be reported to the lessor as soon as possible. In case of significant faults, a partial or full refund may be considered.
Delay or Non-Delivery – Lessee’s Rights
If the lessor fails to make the sauna available at the agreed time and the delay is not caused by the lessee, the lessee may:
* Withhold payment
* Demand delivery of the service
* Terminate the agreement in case of substantial delay
* Demand a price reduction
* Claim compensation for direct financial loss
Claims should be submitted in writing and within a reasonable time.
Defects in the Service – Lessee’s Rights
A service is defective if it does not match what was agreed or expected.
Examples include: the sauna is unavailable, cold, very dirty, or missing facilities.
The lessee may:
* Demand a price reduction
* Terminate the agreement in case of significant defects
* Claim compensation
Complaints must be submitted within a reasonable time, preferably in writing.
Privacy
We collect and store personal data only to complete your booking. No information is shared with third parties, and all data is handled in accordance with the Norwegian Personal Data Act.
Dispute Resolution
In case of disputes, the parties are encouraged to resolve the matter amicably. If this is not successful, the lessee may contact the Norwegian Consumer Council at [www.forbrukerradet.no](http://www.forbrukerradet.no).
Changes to the Terms
The lessor reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. Any changes will be published on our website, and it is the lessee’s responsibility to stay updated on the current terms before booking.

About us
We love saunas, and we love Børsa. To bring those two together, Ragnhild picked up her sketchpad, and Vegar grabbed a hammer and saw. And just like that – Naust Sauna became a reality.
